We're Ryan and Priscilla. We met in the United States of America in 2015 when Priscilla went over on a J1 visa to work for a year. Check out our first photo together. Back when Priscilla had mermaid hair! Ha!

We've been in a long distance relationship since 2016 and engaged since end of October 2019. Priscilla grew up in Auckland, New Zealand while Ryan grew up in San Leandro, California.

The name Oak + Auck comes from our closest "big cities" and ports when traveling to each other. So Oakland and Auckland. We thought this was hilarious because people often get confused when we say Oakland and Auckland with our Kiwi and American accents.
